The Dos Palos Oro Loma Joint Unified School District is committed to supporting 21st century teaching and learning. Given the pace at which new Web 2.0 tools emerge, such as blogs, wikis, and podcasts, district staff recognized the need to implement a comprehensive program to teach the safe, effective, and ethical use of these digital age technologies to staff, students, and parents. The NetSmartzWorkshop provides children with original, animated characters and age-appropriate, interactive activities that use the latest 3-D and web technologies to entertain while they educate.

Middle School:
Online game teaching internet, IM, personal web space, safety skills, followed by online quiz. Additional resources available for download, including lesson plans, links and downloads to additional websites and lessons for cybersafety instruction.

NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for children aged 5 to 17, parents, guardians, and educators.
An entertaining, interactive way for families to learn valuable lessons about online safety. Join classic Disney characters for adventure, fun, and online awareness tips. We encourage parents and children to enjoy and discuss these interactive fables together.
